Emma is the main receptionist at our Woolavington branch and has vast experience and knowledge as a nursing assistant. Her experience began with working at the Heavens Gate Animal Rescue and assessing dogs for the Avon and Somerset Police force.
Next beginning a nursing career in 2006 and joining the team at Axe Valley in July 2010. She has completed the Veterinary Care Assistants course at Cannington College gaining a Distinction and has a keen interest in nutrition, animal behaviour and psychology.
In her spare time Emma keeps herself busy with her family and enjoys walking her Dog Kirby. Emma also has 3 cats called Marble/Mango & Merlot. Marble was hand reared by Emma, and we often see her with a basket of young puppies or kittens to hand rear behind reception.
Emma enjoys sport, and has played Badminton for the last 20 plus years, and in the last 3 years has played cricket for the ladies Huntspill District Cricket Club.
